| It's not just cold in OK and KS, it's cold here, too. The wind is so bad that it blew the blankets off the plants twice already. Today is yoga day, so I didn't take another day from exercise. And Barb, yoga is always good to calm the mind. BTW, ever since you made the comment about # of calories a few days ago, it seems like mine have been up. I have almost an irrational fear of regaining weight. | Let's see...it's Tuesday, right? Sometimes I get ahead of myself. The 3 lb. drop has continued, and I assume it is a permanent loss. Good. Maybe my theory will work out. At any rate, I'm at least holding, and that's better than where I was headed a few weeks ago. Cold today, but sunny. Good for a long walk. |

| we finally had a little warmth today...and winds below 15 mph...how 'bout that?? LOL! Hard and sustained freeze last night wiped out several of the big peach and apple orchards that we go to. | Dang, did I miss posting last night? I swear, I thought I did. I remember the steps being over 14,000 and + 6 miles. Nice weather here again today..........supposed to be awful for the next few days though. | we were busy yesterday...in and out, so no *formal* fitness walk, but believe me, I put some miles on my ole body yesterday. Stayed on track yesterday with the food, just didn't track it; I was to dang tired!today, though...got in a good walk, and > 2 hours of house cleaning for an extra 300 or so cal burn in addition to the walk. | No official walk for me today either. I did get lots of steps and a whole lot of upper body movement. Painting will continue tomorrow. I have to take time out Monday morning to go to a funeral. I hope by Tuesday that we have the wood all done. | Judy, I noticed an obit in our paper today, that said services in your town tomorrow. A Mrs Marshall, and I believe she was a teacher. We've had a wet and soggy Easter Day, but we sure needed the rain; so...no walk for me. today's #s:

| Glad you reminded me to look at the obits. A friend's mother died on Friday and the funeral is tomorrow with burial in Okemah, OK. I need to save the clipping for her. I do hope the weather is nice. That is going to be a long drive for them. I looked up the person that you referred to --- she was a doctor's wife and civic volunteer. Today's weather wasn't at all nice for us. Luckily the worst of it came just after church started and was over by the time church ended. The rest of the day was yucky and cloudy. No walking today --- more painting. We should be well on our way to having the room finished tomorrow. The woodwork is all done with two finish coats on everything. We aren't good enough to paint without taping, so that job may fill a big part of the day tomorrow.
