No big deal............. yellow is popular right now. You can do it with a red in one room, blues in another and sage green in yet another room. The right yellow can be almost a neutral. DD's house has a pale yellow as her primary paint color in the majority of the house. It has been very easy to work with.

Congrats to your granddaughter. Cheerleading isn't the popularity thing it used to be. It's almost a competitive athletic sport now. Just go with it, you may find that it's not a sell out.

Procrastinated enough........ I have to finish grades for the mid six weeks report. The count down is on!! Not much longer.

flying by....
I may be *off the air* for a few days.
DH's younger brother had back surgery, and we learned that one of his cousins is also in the hospital dying of cancer. I suspect we may have to drop and run at any minute. sigh.
Anyhoo, just wanted to say hey and request prayers for our sick folks.

Keep the pool boy in line. I hope to get back to normal soon...whatever that is!!???

Let's see...what day is it?? I do lose track. And I've been pretty busy as well.

Peg, one of my rooms is a pale buttery yellow, and I love it. It looks great with a blue sofa I already owned, and I even had a yellow lamp already. It does work as a neutral, and blends well with the pale sage green and pale ochre of the other rooms. All my rooms kind of run together, so that's important.

I'm off to Wichita today with my sister to pack up her m-in-law for her move to KC. She finally tumbled to the idea, and I know once she gets here she'll wonder why she waited so long. Ruth is a 92-y/o BABE. She'll find a boyfriend to dance with in no time.

Shelley, so sorry about your family troubles. We'll wait here for you. And by the way, I've been through a number of hair styles, including my "electric fuzz" period, and my dh never had a complaint. That's reassuring.

Judy, we're cheerleading for you these last days of school. From what I've read, cheerleading is not only competitive, but downright dangerous as the teams try to come up with more and more dramatic stunts.

I've been trying to keep up with Facebook since I started a page. But I so much prefer the intimacy of our little room here. Please don't go away, ya'll!

Barb, I agree, this is a much more intimate setting than Facebook. I do miss everyone checking in. I still check to see if you and Alida have been by early in the mornings. It's been slow around here .............. maybe it will pick back up.
