| Good for you! Life is still in the way for me. We went to Tyler today to do Mother's Day with DMIL. It was a nice day, but now I'm working on "homework." I'll spend a big portion of tomorrow on it, too. Only 13 more days --- I'm ready. | After a brief thunder scare where Lexie went to her closet shelter, I convinced her that we could indeed walk this afternoon. I probably should have been grading papers, but....... In my defense, I did work until 12:30 last night on a review for my AP kids and have spent a couple of hours this evening getting some grades I did yesterday posted. I am seriously afraid that I have lost one of the hardcopies of my gradebook. I have a couple of grade columns that I can't find. | Two bummers--- rain and a bad dentist trip. Sorry it was a bad day. I went to yoga this afternoon. The type class I take is pretty physicall intensive and happens in a very warm room which leads to SWEAT. I figure even though I didn't hit 10,000 steps, I went one better by working up a major sweat. 05/11/2009 Calories: 1263 Fat: 63 Carbs: 110 - fiber 21 = net 89 Protein: 74 gm Weight: 133.5 Steps: 7120 / Miles: 3.37 Total tracked miles for May: 36.39

| OMG! I went out to girl's night dinner tonight and I am miserable. We went to Olive Garden and in the scheme of what I used to eat, I ate a small amount. But, in the scheme of the amounts I eat now, it must have been a lot . I am stuffed--- but the Italian margarita with a side car of amaretto could have had lots to do with that, too. | Geez, the body is fickle. I go out to eat one time and put on 2.5 lbs overnight. It scares me to death to imagine what will happen being in Nebraska for a week. I have absolutely no control over what they prepare ---- but I do have control over what I eat. I think the best plan may be to essentially skip dinner. During the dinner service, I'll go get a snack to eat later. They serve dinner way earlier than I normally eat. Instead of stuffing in a meal when I'm not hungry, I'll get something of an appropriate amount, take it back to the dorm and heat in the microwave. I've really gotten good at avoiding snacks, maybe if I continue to stay away from them, and stay away from the dining hall I'll be more successful than I have been in past years. | Lots of steps doing some shopping today. Should have come home earlier and done a real walk, but the lure of the sale sign and the need for pants and shirts that fit was just too much. I made a major score at T. J. Maxx. Found some great polos on the sale rack at Target, too.
