Good morning everyone!
I think most of the temptations in the house are pretty much gone now. That should help. Nothing happened yesterday. I need to do errands soon. I have been putting them off all week.
I hope the rest of you are doing well.

Good morning!Had to check in early. I'm so excited. My 7-day average (which is what I report in my sig) is finally back down to my sig line. Yippee! :jumpgreen Even with some off-plan eating yesterday, I was down 1/2 pound this morning and my avg came down by 0.6.
I'm sure the stairs at the office helped a little. That's the only way I can explain it. There are 36 steps, and I had to use them 6 times (all that water I drink). So, that means 216 steps (both up and down). Not bad, eh?
Have a good day everyone! It's Friday!

Debby, I keep reminding myself, "The stairs are your friends!" Whenever I'm not carrying something, I take the stairs down. I usually get off the elevator two floors below my destination. It's not a lot of stairs at any one time, but it adds up.
Happy Friday to you, too!
Aren't stairs a great thing? We used to live in a 3rd story apt. complex when my eldest was a baby. I used to run those things all the time when she was napping! The stairs in my house are a spiral staircase -- not exactly runable! I do have a flight down the front, but I'm heartily enjoying my morning walks again...
I do try to park farther out than necessary, unless I'm going to have a lot to carry, too.
I went tree shopping today!!! It was SO much fun
We got a Moonglow(I think!) pear, a Spartan apple, an Italian prune and a 4-way cherry! The cherry has 4 different types of cherries on it. I'm pumped. I also got a rose bush, some strawberry plants and a little garlic chive plant. Our yard is really going to be great when it is done. Hard to believe that just a couple of weeks ago we had a huge pit (literally) for a back yard! The kids had turned it into a skateboard park!
Food -- I did a bit higher carb at lunch than I normally would have, but I don't feel bad about it at all. Rather, I felt like I was needing just a bit more. Maybe because I'm exercising more or maybe because I'm just coming off a bad allergic reaction. Hard to say, but I feel fine now.
I'm gonna go cook a chicken and play with my trees. See ya!![]()
Hello All,
My son-in-law had his surgery today. They were unable to find the primary tumor, but they did not have to cut the nerve in his shoulder. This will give him more mobility than he was expecting. It took them 4 hours to remove his lymph nodes and they will biop them to see if they are from the primary tumor. If they do not find the tumor site they will have to radiate his whole head instead of just a local site. Please continue to keep us in your thoguhts and prayers. The next few days will continue to be rough.
Sharron, I also played with some plants today. I had to stay home from work to watch my GD, since my DD was in Cols, and I planted some bulbs I had got a while back. The temp of 80 degrees was a real motivator. Now I have a blister on my finger though.
Debby, great going! I still have 6 pounds to get back to my sig weight. I do really great during the day, but the evenings are tough. I am also a stress eater and my life has been tremendously stressful lately!
Have a good weekend!

Susan, I get shivers when I think of your SIL. Am hoping for the best possible outcome.
Debbie, congrats!!
I've been MIA for the past couple of days, trying to get some projects done in house and yard--keeping the PC turned off is the only way to keep me from taking one too many little breaks, methinks!!
Sharron, what joy planting trees! There's nothing like a new tree to give me a smile...I've got so darn much work to clean up the beds, though. And somehow, even though it hasn't really rained this Spring, the grass needs to be mowed, too. How does that happenI really wish I had as much energy as some of you do!
