I'm responding to your invitation up there in OWL. I'm nearing 18 months on Atkins, and maintaining. I'm a bit heavier than my original goal, but I'm at a long-standing "set point" weight, and not very concerned about the last ten pounds. For me, maintaining without obsessing is a very important achievement.
And that's why I like low-carbing. I'm eating in a satisfying way, never feeling deprived, staying on track--in short, just living my life.
I'm totally committed to daily exercise, which is the other "secret" of weight maintenance, not to mention eternal youth. : )
