Yesterday, I started packing up some of my stuff from the classroom to take home. I took two small boxes out to my car. After that, I felt like I could barely walk. My knees really hurt. So, I didn't go swimming after work. I can bring a hand-truck, but the elevator is currently out of order, so that doesn't help.

Today is a possible danger day. A teacher I work with is retiring and they are having a good-bye party for her. I should skip the party, since I know there will be sweet things there.

Tommorow, after work, is a meeting about next year for the teacher assistants.

Etc....

My biggest temptation yesterday, which I didn't give in to, was a bag of cashews.

My weight is up a bit from higher-carb choices over the weekend. Back to the grindstone....

Morning Ilse!!! Happy "end of the school year"!! Its beautiful warm and sunny over here! My day will be busy but rewarding!! Dance class after work..We are doing water challenges again to get back on track!
Gregg: I finished states numbers 43-48 in early may. All that are left are Hawaii and Alaska. Experiencing America in all its diversity has been a great joy!

Good to be alive and kickin' Today I found a "deal" at Big Lots--first time I've ever been there--but anyway, a great deal on plastic organizer boxes for my beads and jewelry components, and I've been organizing my "space" with vigor I seriously underestimated my needs, though. Bought 5 boxes, and it'll take 4 just for the silver. How DID I get all this stuff!!

I'm also asking to be nominated for sainthood. I'm sure the Vatican will approve even though I'm not Catholic. Took my dear Dad out for breakfast and to the grocery store (Woodman's, Ilse) and honestly it was a Laurel and Hardy routine. The fact that he hadn't worn his hearing aids only added to the general hysteria, which had me finding the wrong groceries for him, losing him at least 3 times, and being headlocked into driving though a major construction zone so he could see "what's going on there." LOL!!!! Now this guy isn't senile in the least, just the same zany character he's been all my life. Exhausting for this introvert!

Hope you all are having a good one, and that the people in your lives aren't driving you nutters Can I go back to Milwaukee, huh?
