Has anyone come across any unsweetened flavored syrups, (especially on internet sites)?

I would love to add a little flavoring occasionally to my coffee but I don't like my coffee sweetened. As it is I can add a little ground cinnamon or nutmeg to my brews but my DH doesn't like it that way so I can't make the whole pot that way.

I would think that perhaps you could use some of the extracts available in the baking section of stores...I don't think they have sweeteners added.

Most of the syrups are flavors that are just sweet, such as fruit flavors, candy flavors, etc., so I can't imagine they could be made without a sweetener. What specific flavors were you thinking of?

Natures flavors concentrates, depending on the strength of concentration, appear to me to be cheaper than flavormate. 143 flavors to choose from. And for the most part, they appear to be naturally flavored (as opposed to flavormate which doesn't list ingredients).

Straight vanilla isn't sweetened, maybe add a capful to your coffee grounds while brewing. ?

Libby, my favorite coffee used to be chocolate almond - I bought it online, don't remember where at the moment though, and it had real slivers of toasted almonds in it! When you ground up the beans with the almonds/choc flavor - it was divine!

I also see hazelnut and other flavored coffees available, have you tried any of them?

wow char that coffee sounds splendid... i havent drank much coffee at all since this WOL.. i do miss it when its cold out.. but right now hasnt effected me due to the summer heat..

I am going to invest in some maby dev. syurps or something for this winter.. and maby try some LC bakeing w/ them too...
