Default Strawberry-Banana Smoothie

1 cup Carb Countdown Milk
6 oz Carb Countdown Strawberry-Banana yogurt - or any other flavor
2 ice cubes (or can put milk in freezer for about 10 minutes so it is ice cold and has ice chunks in it)

Pour together in a blender, mix and enjoy! I came up with this creation last time when I really wanted something satisfying but thought it was too late to have something heavy on the stomach.

I put about a tesaspoon of splenda in this as well but realized that there's enough sweetness in the yogurt so you don't need the splenda.

Now when I want ice cream, I'll just make one of these instead.

I'm going to tweak this by suggesting you add a few frozen stawberries or blueberries to sharpen the flavor. I don't want to rain on your parade Sheyla, but I too have been working on smoothies for an after dinner sweet and I realized the frozen fruit gives kicks it up a notch and adds some good nutrients. Also, the fact that I bought 20 pints of blueberries when they were 99 cents each and threw them in the freezer allows me to use them somewhere besides lc blueberry pancakes.

Actually, I considered adding fresh strawberries but it was just good enough without the added fruit...though that would be a good way to get some more fruit in for the day...

I figured that if I was going to add fresh fruit - instead of buying the carb countdown flavored yogurt, I would just buy the plain yogurt, throw some strawberries and splenda in along with the carb countdown milk and blend it all together...

Fresh strawberries or any low sugar fruit for that matter would make it probably more fulfillng as well...but the way I made it, it filled me until lunch time...but I might try adding fruit just to see how it taste...probably just as refreshing!
