| There are a couple of muffin recipes I'm thinking of trying because I really miss my morning muffin. I should probably know the answer to this, but I don't, so I'm looking to all you wonderful people for help. Where does one purchase flax meal and how is it sold? Thanks! |

| I get flaxseed meal at Kroger in the health food section of the store. I'm sure most health food stores would have it. I've read where a lot of people say you should grind your own flaxseed meal, but call me lazy I'd rather just buy it ground and store it in the freezer. |

| Many grocery stores now carry it in the Bob's Red Mills brand. Me, I buy the whole seed at Whole Foods market and grind it myself - it's much more economical and I can smell the seed first to be sure it's good and fresh. And ditto the storage in the freezer once it's ground up - which BTW can be a done a small amount at a time in one of those cheapie little coffee grinders, or in a food processor or blender. HTH! Char

| I buy it in bulk from Whole Foods and freeze. Get the Golden rather than the regular, if you have a choice. I make muffins every two weeks and freeze them. They are great nuked for breakfast. |
