Default keto crumbs

i was on an adventure at the mall and was going threw GNC.. seems like the GNC in my area has gone to mostly muscle builders suply and low carbers...

I found Keto Crumbs " bake & fry crumbs" it was on sale due to upcomeing experation date so me sucker for sales grabed one to see what they were like...

I bought the Original flavor.. they had a cajion and an itilian flavor also.. but this was the cheapest i thought wouldnt cause me heart burn..

Has anyone tried these w/ any sucess..

on the Nutrition facts it says 1/2 a cup.. (if useing if to bread a piece of meat i doubt i will use that much.. for 1 pc of meat... it has 13 grams of carbs w/ 9 grams of fiber... i tend to look the carbs and not subtract the fiber but i thought what the heck... its worth a try.. i have never been one to subtract my fiber count and i guess that is why i hold my count higher than most people could think of..

the ingrediants are 'Textured vegetable protein, Soy protein isolate, Wheat gluten, Whole grain fiber, rice flour, salt, and malt.

i think the one nice thing about the ingrediants is... i can pronounce everything!!!!!!! LOL... most times im sitting there guessing how everything is pronounced..

just thought it would be nice to attempt an alredy canned breading for fast cooking.. lemme know what everyone thinks..

I've used the Italian Style Keto crumbs with great success, but not on meat. I use them with veggies. Specifially frozen chopped broccoli or frozen french cut green beans. I cook the frozen veggies in the microwave until they're the desired doneness. I them transfer to a frying pay with a little olive oil. I add several tablespoons (3-ish) of crumbs and a good handful of parmesean cheese and stir until the crumbs and cheese brown. Works equally well with both veggies and is totally yummy!

Gilley, why don't you fry one piece of chicken to see if you like the crumbs in that way. I would recommend to season a few crumbs in a dish, dip the chicken in an egg wash then fry in some good lard. I have some of those crumbs, but haven't used them yet.
