| Maggie's recipe is in the recipe section here. It got rave revues by all who tried it. http://www.lowcarbeating.com/recipe_..._name=Desserts I'd go for that one if I were going to make biscotti hth Shelley

| okay i realy need to get a better stock of some of these lowcarb staples i substituted alot of things but i think it came out to about the right texture.. just hope it taste good.. i made a coco hazelnut flavor useing davinchie and coco powder i did not have any sliced or whole nuts of any kind.. (till after i was done mixing it all andi found whole almonds and some whole walnuts ) anyway i just got done sliceing and placeing back in oven i think i need to let it in the oven a little longer than needed beacuse it seemd a littel underbaked. seem like they are gona turn out good.. if not. .im gona go to store tommrow and buy the products i actualy needed lol.. i should have my oven taken away from me for my inability to follow recipes

| Gilley, you're a good cook with excellent instincts. I'll bet your biscotti turn out fine. If you've got a pilot light, or an electric light bulb, in your oven, they'll dry out just fine there, given some time. Let us know how it worked!

| just went to check on them and they feel fine.. turned oven off.. now the true test will be how they came out flavor wise since i had to use soy protien powder instead of the wheat- (i used a little bit of vital wheat gluten) and to make up for not haveing put nuts in it i added a little extra almond flour. i made it look realy cute how some twist the two difrent flavors so its 2 dif colors brown and off white.. mmm cant wate.. if this turns out good ill proly have to make another batch (maby actualy following recipe) beacuse there are going to be 6 of us girls and well w/ the kids im sure they will wana taste a few things (even tho i have stuff for them too) god i love hosting things like this nice way to have company and eat things im alowed also..
