| I am going to be making Marcie's Brie/Cauli Mash for TG. I would love to make it ahead of time. My question is . . . how far ahead . . . and could it be prepared and refrigerated before the final 20 minutes in micro . . . or should I complete the cooking then put in refrig to reheat later? This may sound dumb, but at my age I have learned to ASK and not ASSume.

| I make Marcie's CauliMash about once a week or more, and I've found it to be a pretty adaptable, robust recipe. I usually make a half batch, as there are only two of us. The reheated leftovers make a great breakfast dish or we may have them for dinner again in a day or two. I'm sure you could make it a day ahead, put it in your casserole dish, then refrigerate it until you are ready to heat it for serving. You may have to increase the heating time, because you would be starting with a cold dish.
