Default Trick for printing recipes

You all may know this, but I did not! (OK, I am an idiot.) When I wanted to print a recipe that was part of a thread, I used to highlight it, copy it, and paste it into a blank e-mail, then print. DUH.

Simply highlight the part you want to print, open your printer dialog box, choose "selection" then print. The only thing that prints is what you have "selected."

My printer prints it with a border and with ample space on the side to 3-hole-punch to put in my recipe notebook.

Even easier - highlight, then right click on it, which brings up a menu where you can choose PRINT and then selection!

Thanks Alida. Now, I've learned something new today. I read here where people are copying, pasting, sorting, etc., and I just cringe and settle into the background where no one knows that I don't know how to do those things. lol

Nothing idiotic about it at all, Alida - somebody just has to TELL you about it! How do you think *I* learned all this cool stuff!

Another way to do it is to print just the post that the recipe is in. If you look at a post, you'll see there's a number in the upper right hand corner. (Char's post is #5) If you click on that number, it's a link to that one post. Then you can just print and only the chosen post will print.
