| I've recently come across some recipes with liquid Splenda. Anyone know a good place to purchase this from? I'm in the USA and I've never seen it in a store. Thanks! Last edited by lisacar; 02-15-2005 at 04:48 PM. |

| It depends on what they mean - liquid Splenda can be found in flavored syrups, such as Torani or DaVinci, or in concentrates such as Sweetzfree.com or Trishz's 0 Carb Concentrate at locarber.com or in a more diluted form like Fiberfit from netrition - so if the recipe you're looking at doesn't specify which form of liquid, maybe post it here so we can help you out! | as i recall, years back there was actually "liquid Splenda" but it wasnt on the market long since i dont care for any other sweetener except Splenda, and i buy tons of DaVinci's -- they finally came out with a plain sweetener, no flavoring added. it's called "Simply Sweet" and you can get it anywhere you buy DaVincis (I get mine at Netrition.com) |

| I can't find that on their website. Is that the correct name? Okay, I found it--Simple Sugar free. I can't see it on Netrition but found it on Davinci's own site. Sounds like a good idea. Last edited by Terrasanct; 02-20-2005 at 01:05 AM. |

| Right, after I thought about it I realized it's the sugar free version of a simple syrup. You make that with sugar and water and boil it down until it's thick. It's used to make lemonade and mixed drinks where dissolving sugar might be a problem. I looked on the DaVinci site and there are so many cool new flavors! I wish they were all available locally. |

| I do like the liquid Splenda I get at www.sweetzfree.com It may seem expensive, but it lasts a long time. This is a more concentrated form of liquid Splenda. When I use it in a recipe, I'll put a little less in at first, then taste. However, after the massive baking I did at Christmas the one thing I noticed with ALL the low carb cookies I made was they were not sweet enough! Next go-around, they all get a few more drops.
