| We are starting to get fresh asparagus in the stores now and I love it. I've never frozen it and wondered it anyone else has? If it doesn't turn mucky, I thought I might freeze a bunch so I could have it over the winter too. Any thoughts?

| You can buy it frozen, I buy it all the time. You could get some frozen and try it and see if you like it. |

| You could easily freeze it;you have to blanch it first though. Place in boiling water for about 2 mins for small stalks, 3 for larger. Then immediately run cold water on them to stop the cooking. Drain and put in freezer bags or containers leaving as little air space as possible. Good luck!

| Okay, I'll try it. Thanks for the replys. It's still pretty expensive but as soon as it drops I'll be buying the stores out.
