Default Liquid Splenda

Hi there. I was buying liquid splenda (or, splenda syrup base) from Trish at www.locarber.com but when I tried to go to the site yesterday, I kept getting taken to something like an administrative page. When I tried to e-mail Trish, I got a delivery failure notice saying that the e-mail address doesn't exsist.

HELP! Does anyone know where to get her syrup base? I just about literally can't live without it.

From what I've been reading she's gone out of business.

The only place I know of to get liquid Splenda now is at sweetzfree.com which is more concentrated than what Trish used to sell, but they're out right now.

Editing to add:

I just remembered, Netrition.com has a product that they call fiberfit that is basically liquid Splenda but it's less concentrated. I think it takes 2 tablespoons to replace 1 cup of sugar, which would be one ounce of liquid; that's pretty expensive.

Welcome. I bought some "pure liquid Splenda" from a source in Austrailia that I got from another low carb chat room. The "pure liquid splenda " he sells is stronger than Sweetzfree, but comes with directions to dilute to a syrup where 2 tsp= 1 cup of sugar. Delivery takes about 6 weeks. If you e-mail me, I will send you his e-mail address. (I think forum rules prohibit posting e-mail addresses.)

hdyhouse, I PM'd you too. With Trish out of the business, Sweetzfree is overloaded and very hard to order from. They only open up the site for orders three days a month, and they sell out in the first five minutes. I didn't like Fiberfit very much. It had an off taste to me. Thanks for the offer!

I use Davinci's Sugar Free Simple Syrup.. it basically tastes like plain sugar and I use it for sweetening things without carbs just like you would with liquid Splenda.

Try using this... I believe it's much cheaper. You can buy it online if you want. I ordered like 3 bottles. It's great stuff.

It IS good stuff, but it's not useful for some recipes where adding all that liquid would not benefit the texture. That's where the concentrated stuff comes in so handy! The kind I currently use is 1.5 teaspoons = 1 cup of sugar in sweetness. The DV syrups are pretty much cup for cup in sweetness, in my experience anyway.

I love their flavors though and currently have about 40 of them! I could start my OWN DaVinci store! LOL!
