| Funny, I was just reading this book yesterday and today. I made the Roasted Cinnamon Candied Nuts last night. Easy recipe, good results - not outstanding, but good enough. I was considering making his Rosemary Pork Loin next week. I've made other recipes from the book, though I don't remember just which ones. As I recall, I didn't have any problems with those recipes. It's interesting to read, as his writing style is very personal and he talks a lot about his family. He likes to use a lot of exclamation points!

| The family's loved everything that I've made from this cookbook...especially the NY cheesecake and the Waldorf Cole Slaw. The pizza's pretty good...I still haven't found anything to replace a real pizza crust, but I continue to search. Teel...my kids love to make the cinnamon nuts...yummy! |

| I've made the Zucchini Blinis, the pumpkin cheesecake, the NY cheesecake, the oriental chicken skewers, the zucchini muffins, the dressing, the gravy, the pumpkin praline pie, the rosemary pork loin, the cinnamon candied nuts, and the grilled veggies. Everything is really easy to follow and tastes incredible! I'm really looking forward to his next cookbook!

| Well - I got up this morning and made the Blueberry Pancakes. Let me preface this by saying - I don't care for Soy....not at all. And this recipe used 1/2 a cup of soy. I made it...according to the directions (or so I thought) and realized that I had added 1/2 cup heavy cream instead of 1/3 cup of heavy cream. Suprisingly though the bater was REALLY thick. It was impossible to pour. The first batch was a bit thick...I thinned it out by adding water and the second batch was a bit better. They were dense...and the blueberries were a bit weird.... *grin*.... I liked the 'idea' of blueberries... The taste was pretty good. Not exactly like a pancake...but it was definitely edible...I ate all four of my little 'size of a soda can' shaped pancakes. Next time I'm going to ditch the blueberries, add cinnamon and nutmeg and thin the batter out a bit more. That was at 9am this morning...it's 11:50 now. And I'm not hungry at all - it was really dense - that's good right? I'll let you guys know how everything else turns out. ;-) |

| Thanks for the feedback on the pancakes, Dee. I haven't tried them yet since I got a small box of Carbquick and did their pancakes to get the pancake need out of my system. I'll have to try the Stella ones next time, though I too love the *idea* of blueberries a lot more than I actually like blueberries.

| The cookbook is an easy read for sure. Their story is inspirational...before and after pics are astonishing. I'm going to try something else tomorrow afternoon. I have my 'passion' party tomorrow afternoon. Should be lots of fun! |
