It's a good thing to put into a smoothie to balance out the sweetness of the fruit. Some cooked cereal recipes have it. There are tons of other things but I can't think of what at the moment.

I've seen it in bread recipes, hot cereal, used as a creamer in coffee, for protien bars, the list goes on. If there is something in particular that you want a recipe for let me know!!

I often take a scoop of protein powder and add water, vanilla, and some sweet and low (my protein powder isn't flavored or very sweet) and stick it in the blender with the proper amount of water and 3 or 4 sliced strawberries. I use my magic bullet. comes out nice and is pretty filling.

Here's a protein powder smoothie I made today that was quite nice. Like Rob, I used a Magic Bullet, though I'm sure a conventional blender would work just fine.

Vanilla Pumpkin Smoothie

Blend together until smooth:

1/2 cup of crushed ice
2 cubes* of frozen canned pumpkin (not pie mix)
1/4 water (use more or less depending on how thick a smoothie you prefer)
2 TBS of half-n-half (optional, I'd probably omit this next time)
1 1/2 scoops of Designer Whey French Vanilla
2 squirts of sugarfree French Vanilla Da Vinci syrup

*Usually, I can't use up a whole can of pumpkin all at once. So I freeze it in ice cube trays. After it's frozen, I empty the pumpkin cubes into a ziplock bag and store it in the freezer for future use.

It's not a bad way to get in another serving of vegetables.

For breakfast, I stir 3 TB vanilla protein powder into 1/2 C. cooked steel cut oats with 1 TB flax seed and 2 tsp. peanut butter. It tastes like creamy vanilla-peanut butter oatmeal...which it should!

For lunch, I blend up 3 oz. frozen peaches, 1/3 C. yogurt, 5 TB vanilla protein powder, 1 tsp flax seed oil, 1 tsp. OJ concentrate, 1 pkt. splenda, 2 TB lecithin granules and a few drops of almond extract. YUMMY!

I also sprinkle it on my FiberOne cereal in the morning.
