| I saw this posted on another low carb board: "I just received this info from DaVinci as well in an e-mail (I had posted the info in the recipe forum a little bit ago). Someone also mentioned in response that the pancake and Chai syrup needed to be refrigerated though. The DaVinci folks also added this helpful info as well: Our syrups do not require refrigeration after opening. However, for quality we recommend you store our syrups in a cool climate and away from direct light. For maximum freshness and consumer satisfaction, we recommend the following shelf life for our products. There is an eight digit code on the glass portion of the bottle near the neck the first 3 digits are the day of the year it was made the fourth digit is the year. So if the 4th digit is a 2 it is good till 2004 etc. Classic and Sugar Free - 2 years Natural - 18 months 1/2 & 1 Gallon Sauce - 1 year Sugar Free Sauce - 6 months (May increase with experience)" |

| Yea, I had to dump some that I'd been given (different brand) -- it had something that my daughter called "jellyfish" floating around the sides and bottom Needless to say, we threw it out!!! ![]() |
