i found the post back over a year ago, took me for ever to get threw all the posts till i found it but.. just incase anyone else was curious now. it was this

""Almond Porridge

1 serving - 8g carbs

1/4 cup heavy cream-2
1/2 cup ground almonds-5
2 eggs-1
1/2 cup of cold water-0
DaVinci SF Syrup or liquid Splenda to taste-0

Heat the cream and almonds together in a saucepan, until almost boiling, and then remove from the heat.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the water, and then pour in the hot cream and almonds, beating all the time. When thoroughly mixed, pour the mixture back into the saucepan and keep stirring over a low heat until it thickens.

When it?s at the desired consistency, add liquid Splenda or DaVinci sugar free syrup (Caramel is especially good) to taste and serve.""

gilley,

I've also got a couple of hot cereal recipes in my books. One was a cookie recipe my kids and I were experimenting with that failed. It makes a wonderful cereal though

Let me know if you are interested.

Same to you!

I've tried to get into the chatroom a few times, but my computer doesn't seem compatible :(

I've been so busy with home schooling and whatnot this year, I've not had time to come on the boards much.

((hugs))
