Default Wheat Grass

My mum sent me some seeds of wheat grass (at least I think that is what it is we call it "trigo") and I grew some as is our New Year tradition.

I don't know what to do with it now, apparently there are great health benefits to liquidising the grass and drinking shots of it. Has anyone done this? Would it fit into a low carb lifestyle?

Sounds a little more vegan, than low carb. Hmmm. Perhaps you can put some in a salad, along with some leftover steak slices.

I'm sorry not to be of much help.

I have tried to look up the carb count but cannot find it anywhere.

Yea, I was going to say that it wouldn't be very much -- like a chive or salad green. I'd eat it freely since it is supposed to have many health benefits :P

I think I would like to drink it! I don't have a liquidiser but I have a blender.

You know, it depends on how powerful your blender is, but many are strong enough to juice and even have enough power to heat it while blending so that it becomes soup!

You could do a combination of veggies and make your own unique veggie juice. If you do, let us know how it comes out

oh gosh... celery, spinach, parsley... induction week is tough. later you could add a bit of carrot, though not much, or apple, just for some flavor.

I'm not a super experienced juicer. I do have a recipe book from great grandma of just juice recipes. If I can find it, I'll post some
