I have found something strange about the peanut butter recall. My husband and I had a jar of that peanut butter with the number on it. We had already opened it and used some of it within that week with nothing happening to either of us.. not one symptom... the difference... we were using no sugar added peanut butter and it was low carb. I wonder why it didn't affect us? Needless to say, I threw it out along with two unopened jars. Now I only have one jar of skippy no sugar added, and can't find any more.

Here in OOOklahoma, we had huge amounts of the pnb that was pulled from the shelf with the contaminated number code on it. Tonight on the news, they said the pnb had in fact tested positive for salmonella.
glad I buy smuckers natural!
