| For the last several years, the only Splenda sweetened pickle relish I was able to find was made by Mt. Olive. Very few stores here carried that brand. However, while I was in a grocery store outside of Cleveland this week, I saw that Vlasic now makes a Splenda sweetened pickle relish. I have not looked for it here yet, but I thought I would post this so if you are interested, you can check your super markets for it.

| Thanks, Henry! We use a lot of the Mt. Olive Splenda pickles and relish. DH especially likes the bread and butter pickles with Splenda. |

| I've been using Vlasic for quite a while. It's all that WalMart Supercenter carries here. They also have the best Splenda-sweetened gherkins, too. We always stock up. I really don't like the squeeze bottle for the relish, would prefer it in a jar, but I'll take what I can get. Mt. Olive are good, too, but I'd have to go to another store to get them, and even then there's no guarantee they'll have any. Just read on Carbwire that the Coca Cola people are trying to get approval for stevia-sweetened Coke. They have it in Japan. In fact, stevia is 40% of the artificial sweetener market in Japan. Here it can't be sold as a sweetener, only as a supplement. Stupid, huh?! |

| Henry, still have one jar remaining of the pickle relish you gave me last year. Believe me, it is cherished! Thanks for the info! |

| I'll have to look around for this! I've been using the Mt. Olive brand, since that was the only splenda sweetened pickles/relish I could find when I was looking. Time to re-scan the shelves.

| Look closely at the labels, because there isn't any difference except that the Splenda-sweetened jar's label has "No Sugar Added" across the top, and the Splenda oval, also. It's easy to accidentally pick up the wrong jar. I can't tell any difference between the Mt. Olive and the Vlasic, although I haven't seen any bread & butter pickles in the Vlasic brand. Too bad, too. For us sweet pickle lovers, these brands are fantastic. |

| ohhhhh, I've had the Vlasic sf bread and butter pickles....they are yum-O!! I sometimes end up going to Walmart Neighborhood Market for some things, and I've found the Vlasic sf products there. S.
