    Default Shiritake Noodles

I'm sure there has been a thread before about Shiritake noodles. I bought some yesterday and had them last night for dinner with a spaghetti sauce and mozzarella cheese....... little sauce, lots of cheese. They were OK, but I wasn't just bowled over by them. What do you do with them?

Judy, I use them either as a side dish with an alfredo or cheddar cheese sauce, or I add them to a stir fry to make a lo-mein style dish.

Thanks Henry, I knew you would have an idea. I think I read somewhere about people cooking them, cutting them up, and then frying the pieces. I'll have to keep looking for ideas. I have two bags.

They are excellent for asian stir fry type dishes. Use plenty of garlic, hot pepper, some ginger, fish sauce and all the rest of the usual stuff except sugar. Did I mention hot pepper?

For a very low calorie meal I just boil and then put them in hot water with beef bouillon cubes.
