Default I had a grilled cheese sandwich for dinner

...........well, not a real one, but, close enough. Cooked a plain OMM in a retangular plastic dish. When I cut the OMM in half each piece was exactly the size of a slice of cheese. The slices were just about the same thickness as sliced bread. Stuck some cheese in the middle and grilled it in butter until browned in the skillet. Yum.

I've done that and completely forgot about it this time around. YUM. Thanks for reminding me. Time to get the two giant bags of flax seed meal out of the basement! I forgot what I could make with them.

The OMM is the One Minute Muffin, one of the most versatile low carb foods on the planet. You'll find a sticky on it in the Low Carb Cooking section that this very thread is posted in.

Wow!! I went to the store tonight and bought my first ever bag of Flax Seed Meal to make the OMM recipe... I wasn't sure what to expect but holy cow this was great and the texture was perfect. Next plan - make the OMM in a rec. dish as with the grilled cheese but instead use it to make French Toast in the am. Amazing - thanks everyone!
