Default Broccoli Salad (like what Ruby Tuesday's has on their salad bar)

Hi everyone,
This doesn't really fall under "cooking" (thank goodness, since I'm allergic to cooking), but I couldn't find another appropriate place to post it.

If you've ever been to Ruby Tuesday's and had their broccoli salad from their salad bar, then you should love this recipe since, to me, it tastes almost just like it. I just made a "batch" last night and I think it's just dee-lish!

- raw broccoli (I used an entire bunch), cut from the stems
- 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese (or more, to taste)
- 1/2 cup of bacon ranch dressing (the "bacon" part of the dressing is very important!)
- 1-2 slices of bacon or turkey bacon, or bacon bits, to taste

Stir it all together (no cooking!) and voilą! You have a very similar version of the Ruby Tuesday's broccoli salad.

I won't attempt to post here what the carb count will be, but it's pretty low.

Enjoy!!

That sounds very good, Linda! Thanks for sharing it. Easy I like!

I have graduated from "totally allergic to cooking" to "lazy cook" category myself, but I'm working on it. The more ya do that "mixing stuff up in the kitchen stuff," the easier it is to stay on track.

I heard a comedienne once say she had "transcended her domesticity." I liked that one, too.

Wow, simple quick and tasty - if your market sells the bags of pre-cut broccoli florets or heck, even the broccoli slaw and the pre-cooked bacon (oh come on, I can't be the only one whose gone that route!) - I think you're looking at a side dish that only takes 2 minutes tops to make!!

Thanks for sharing!!!
