| Bob's Red MIll makes a LC bake mix. It's still a little high in carbs, IMO, but for occasional use is not to bad. Usually find the BRM products in a HFS(health food store). Plan B would be to order your bake mix online. hth

| Atkins quit making a lot of the really good lc products, now you get pretty much just bars & shakes. I don't think they have a bake mix anymore. I find it better just to experiment and use things such as flaxseed meal, coconut flour, almond flour, etc., for baking. I can't stand soy flour, and that's what most bake mixes are made from. Try some Carbquik or carbalose flour if you really need to bake something. Carbquik has a big list of recipes on their website. I buy mine from Netrition. That's where I buy all my low carb baking supplies. They sell the Bob's Red Mill bake mix and Dixie Diner bake mix, but I've not tried either of these, so I cannot give you a recommendation. Carbsense used to make a good bake mix, but, alas, they are out of business.

| Christina, if you do a Google search for "low carb baking mix recipe", you will find recipes to make your own l/c baking mix. However, you should realize that while cooking has been described as "art", l/c baking is very much about "science". What that means is that recipes are very ingredient dependent and substitutions do not always result in a satisfactory finished product. As a result, l/c baking is very much a trial and error process. Good luck.
