Hubby and I went to the coast today. We ate at Brown's Seafood. We had the fish (haddock) and chips. I subbed an extra cole slaw for the fries (chips) and didn't eat the batter on the fish.

We walked for about an hour on the edge of the ocean. It is a tough walk on the wet sand. I was working it! I spent quite a bit of time picking up cool rocks for a decorative jar I want to fill. Fun and exercise...that's what I like!

PS. The sound of the waves is so relaxing.

Wow, Neti! That sounds like both a LC and an extremely fun evening, too! I'm envious.

I had dental work today so it's soft foods for me the next couple of days. I'm thinking maybe some cottage cheese and some jello tonight unless I get ambitious and make some mashed cauliflower.

Mamagiff, how about a protein shake? That's what I do when I have dental work.

I changed my mind about supper. I browned 2 cups of broccoli and one of Mediterranean blend in a mix of olive oil & butter, added a bag of frozen cooked shrimp, seasoned with garlic & onion powder, soy sauce, juice of a small lemon, and a bit of dried red pepper flakes. It turned out fantastic!

I love the sound of the Ocean also Neti!

Roasted an organic chicken and had a boatload of broccoli sauteed in olive oil and garlic. Very satisfying basic meal!
Tonight might be dreamfields pasta with meat sauce (Thanks Henry).

The Cobb salad last night was fabulous. Tonight I'm having Italian sausage and peppers (and onion). Will then use the leftovers for sausage/peppers/and eggs for breakfast Thursday or Friday.

Tonight will be a hamburger bowl for me while I watch Biggest Loser....layers of hamburger and veggies topped with melted cheese. Very little mess...but lots of flavour.

Tonight will be a chicken breast pounded within an inch of its life and wrapped around some spicy jack cheese and cilantro. Also a simple jicama and lime salad.

Grilled pork chops with California blend wrapped in foil w/butter and popped on the grill. Or, instead of those veggies, the zucchini & yellow squash from our last year's garden that is thawing in the fridge, heated gently with butter.

Not sure what we'll be having tonight...I'm back to regular foods now as long as I remember to chew on the left side.

I'm thinking some cheddarwurst and salad sounds kind of good...

Made cobb salad again because it was so good last week! Tried a new twist. Stuffed hollowed out cherry tomatoes with a mixture of leftover spinach and blue cheese. Very good!

Going to have a Hamburger Bowl like the one Donna posted-sounds easy and fun. Will probably nuke it with a bit of salsa. I still have some Jicama left that I need to use so will make a Jicama with lime salad to go with it.

AND-I ran out an got a carton of big, beautiful, strawberries-guess what I'm going to do to the little dears?!

Katalina, I'm coming for supper! (Drool!!!)

I think we're just going to grill burgers, dig out some sort of veggie from the freezer & maybe add a slice of cheese to the burger. I love burgers!
