| With strawberries coming into season I thought I'd share this topping. Very simple to make. 2 cups sliced strawberries 4 T. SF strawberry preserves or jam Sweetener of choice to taste (I use a combination of stevia and liquid Splenda equivalent to 4 tsp. sugar) Toss and let set for an hour or two in the fridge if possible. Make a nice shortcake from a OMM and use this as the topping. ![]() |

| I love to make this topping. Sometimes I also put a few blueberries into the mix, for a nice color combo. Sometimes I use Walden Farms sf strawberry syrup, since it's 0 carb, and it works nicely, too. I bypassed the strawberries yesterday - it's just me for a couple of days, and I knew I'd eat them all by myself if they were sitting in the fridge! |
