This isn't a recipe, but it's what I like to do with my diet soda. I try to buy only Splenda sweetened sodas, like RC or Diet Rite. Sometimes the taste is just too sweet and the carbonation just a bit more than what I want. So, I mix the soda with something else to calm it down. Sometimes a sf drink mix, but often just some cold water to dilute it some. Yes, I know, it probably sounds crazy to a lot of you, but I find it a more refreshing drink if it's diluted a bit. It would also work to mix it with a bit of iced tea. And, it's a good way to get more liquid into your system.

Nita-this summer I mixed Diet Rite black cherry soda into my Crystal Light lemonade and it was quite tasty.

never thought of mixing soda with crystal light, but you know it almost sounds ok, except, I dont buy the sodas at all cause I can't stand the flavors of them... so I just keep a good stock of the crystal ligts (actually wylers or store brand) I like - peach tea, wild berry, lemonade... and just make up a couple of packages per week, and drink a little each night when i am wanting something but not water...
