| Like many other l/c things, I bought a bag because I thought it would come in handy to eliminate the recrystalization tendency/grainy texture of regular eryrithol in icing. However, as I do not have a sweet tooth, I seldom make a dessert. As a result, the powdered eryrithol is on my l/c sweetener shelf of my storage shelving awaiting an opportunity to actually try it. I have seen good reviews of it, so I have no reason to think it will not work as a powdered sugar substitute.

| I don't know what recipe you are using, but the one I use for cream cheese frosting works really well with splenda. I've made it several times and it's a hit with everyone, whether or not they are low carbing. Margaret |

| Thanks to you both for the suggestions!!!! I didn't think the Splenda would act like powdered sugar since it is finely grounded but I am trying to make a creamcheese icing and will try it as well as the eryrithol. |
