FYI, Leanne Ely, who creates and distributes the Menumailer via email now has a low carb version. For those who don't know about Menumailer, it's for the harried, timecrunched, and or disorganized cook. Ely creates simple, cost effective, but inviting dinner menus for a week, along with easy recipes, shopping lists, and serving suggestions, and mails one to you every Wednesday if you subscribe. Her serving suggestions include both LC and non-LC options, so that cooks with non-lc family members don't have to put on their thinking caps.

While Leanne has been producing the "regular" edition for several years, this is her first attempt at producing an LC version. If you are interested in checking it out, there's a free sample available at:

Of course, there are some considerations-- you may need to adjust quantities for your family size or preferences (if you generally eat more protein than her serving sizes indicate, for example) and for your particular plan or OWL stage....In addition, I noticed her use of flour in the sample menu, for dredging chicken--well, maybe we have a thing or two to teach Leanne, too!

Anyway, it's nice to see yet another low carb option out there....

Bren,

I don't think she gets it. She appears to be trying, but hasn't done the necessary research to support what she is trying to do...

Have you been on her list for a long time? You might consider writing her a nice note...???

Have a great day!

Blessings!

I'm not on her list, actually. She advertises her services on another list I read. No, this is her first attempt, because so many people have asked for a low carb version. She's pretty sharp, though, and I think she'll catch on to the nuances.
