Hi Crystal!

There is a canned diet soda, Canfield's Diet Chocolate Fudge - it's pretty tasty, but made with aspartame, so I avoid it.

What I do is buy seltzer water (0 sodium) and use DaVinci sugarfree, Splenda-sweetened syrups to flavor it as I choose. If you're unfamiliar with the syrups, you can look at them and buy them online at www.davincigourmet.com - they have about 40 sugarfree flavors. I think I own about 37 of them!

As to the soda with cream, my current favorite is 2 tablespoons whipping cream, 3 tablespoons DaVinci SF rootbeer syrup, in a tall glass - fill it up with seltzer and add a straw for an awesome "root beer float" - you can make any flavor "Italian creme soda" the same way, just use whatever flavor you like and cream and seltzer or club soda!

Another fave is the chocolate syrup, the Creme de Menthe syrup (or you can buy Peppermint Paddy syrup, I just don't own it) with the cream and soda. Oh it's SO good!

And if you're into kahlua and cream, try their Kahuli Caffe flavored syrup with some cream, on ice.

I sound like a DaVinci commercial, don't I?! On another board I used to frequent (Weight Watchers related) I was dubbed "The DaVinci Diva" because I used these syrups in so many different ways.

So I hope that helped you out!

OOOOooohhhhh....wow that sounds good... *lol* Okay...it's a good thing I'll have to order those syrups...I'll have something to look foreward to after Induction. THANK you !!

*dances off with visions of rootbeer floats and chocolatey goodness jumping around in her head*

Crystal, LOL! I hope you like them as much as I (and my DH) do!

I also highly recommend the pump tops - DV sells them for $2 or so each. Makes it REALLY easy to dispense the syrups, especially when you have enough of 'em to want to "blend" flavors - like DH, he makes a "snickers bar soda" without the cream but with chocolate, peanut butter, caramel, and I forget which other DV syrup...the pump dispensers make it easy to dispense a squirt or two without having to remove tops!

And the other good news is, they don't need refrigeration (except the Pancake Syrup which contains a thickening agent, and is BTW very tasty) so my wetbar looks like a DaVinci store!

OK, I've said more than enough on THIS subject for one day.....

Hi, I am brand new here, just signed on tonight, but I wanted to share my favorite drink of the moment. I use sugar free vanilla coke and mix it with cream and ice. It is so rich and creamy it is just like a dessert! It also works with root beer, and you end up with a melted float! Great stuff!!
