Hi--I ordered mine on eBay (search low carb taco shells--she offers "buy it now"), but the seller included reordering info. It says to contact tacoshells@comcast.net. They are $24.99/case, not sure how many come in a case as I ordered only 2 small boxes the first time. S/H is $7.50 for a case. I'm sure she will give you single-box prices if you e-mail her. They come in white corn and yellow corn; I bought a box of each and they are both really good. Aderyn

Hardy har har! I don't even have a "regular" grocery store where I live! There is a newly opened WalMart in the next town (about 1 hour round trip) and if they haven't got it, the next option is online (or 8-hour round trip to larger town). I would just about kill for a Mexican grocery! Shoot, even a well-stocked Mexican department. Darn, even a Mexican restaurant would be nice! (But maybe too much temptation, ha ha). Aderyn

If you are really nice AND THIS ONLY GOES FOR PEOPLE THAT LIVE TOTALLY IN THE BOONIES!!! I can get you some. I am currently comsuming them. I love corn shells!! Anyway they are 1.88 for 18 or 3 something for 36 or not sure but the box is big. So I am offering. It really peeves me to see someone charging such a high price, when I know we can get it cheaper. So if you send me the money plus shipping I could probably send you a big box that would las a while. V I can do this!!

Acase is generally 12 boxes - $7.50 shipping for 12 boxes of shells is hardly "such a high price". Single boxes are shipped via Priority Mail in the US for $4.50. $3.85 of that is actual postage - the remainder of 65 cents is a handling charge, which again, is hardly outrageous. (No, I'm not the seller, but I am *a* seller, and know what it takes to get even one item safely packaged for shipment.)

Wow shrinkydink that is great. I sold on Ebay too. The box it self weighs 5 oz so I know there would be a less expensive way to ship these not to mention charging 2x the actual retail for a product is insulting. Also it is even sicker that they are exploiting people trying to make themselves feel better. Any way just my opinion. OZZIESGIRL WE CAN CHECK I WOULDNT WANT YOU TO MISS OUT I can do this!!

| JinniLynn, I would love to take you up on that offer and would be happy to pay your gas $$ to get to the store or whatever; I think it would still be cheaper than mail order. Can you e-mail me so we can "talk" about it? hillacc@yahoo.com I am so far out in the boonies we don't even have cable TV, cell phone towers, etc. Most of my neighbors drive horses and buggies (Well, OK, they're Amish...but still...) | There MAY be a small detail missing here - and maybe I'm the one that's out in left field here - but these aren't just ANY taco shell, they are a LOWER CARB taco shell! I've given away my "regular" taco shells because they were too high in carbs! So maybe JinniLynn could check the source of her shells for the carb info before there is some MAJOR disappointment happening here!! Hope I didn't stick my nose in where it didn't really belong.... | I didn't believe it either to tell you the truth. When I saw this post I was like I have see those in the store before and thought they were just some funky off brand. The deal is this 1) the only ingredients are yellow corn, water, lime, and vegetable shortning. They are also smaller and very thin. According to fitday.com a small corn tortilla which I think has more cornmeal than this has 3.73 carbs of which .41 is dietary fiber. These tacos shells say 4g carbs and 3g dietary fiber. I am not a nutritionist so I don't know why these would have more dietary fiber content, perhaps they aren't processed as much. Anyway corn tortillas have waaaaay less carbs than flour and luckily I prefer them. They are made in the U.S. so I would think that in order to have this information it would have to be correct. Again, I am not a nutritionist so correct me if I am wrong. V I can do this!! |

V, if those are the La Tiara shells you can get, I'll stand in line for some! Have you considered setting up a PayPal account? (If you don't already have one.) That way anyone who wants taco shells can pay you directly without the hassle of checks or cash in the mail. Being an eBay seller myself, I find PayPal an invaluable tool! If you want to check it out, go to www.paypal.com - I could find "my" link to it where I'd get credit if you signed up, but I'm more interested in making it easy than in getting credit! I live in an area with a large Mexican population and haven't ever seen these particular shells. But I'm sure willing to try 'em! Char Don't squat with yer spurs on!
