A friend recently shared this recipe with me. It is delicious.

Bottom Layer
1 3/4 cup ground walmuts ** reserve 1/4 cup for topping
3/4 cup Splenda
4 TBSP melted butter

Grind walnuts into crumb texture. Then add splenda & butter and pat into bottom of 9 X13 pan.

Filling

16 oz cream cheese
3 large eggs
3/4 cup Splenda
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream all these ingredients together until smooth. Pour over crumbs.

Spread 1/2 cup sugar free strawberry jam very carefully on top.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup walnuts on top and a few sliced almonds.

Bake 350 degrees 1 hour.
Cool in fridge at least 3 hours.
12 into 12 bars.
Approx. 7 gr. carb per bar

I second that Sharron! They sound almost decadent

I am printing this one off today and making them as soon as I can get to the store for some of the ingredients.

Sounds yummy! Is there a brand of SF jam/jelly made with splenda?

I used Smuckers sugar free. Can't remember how is was sweetened. Will check the label tonite.

PAmomathome, I have made these with raspberry, and they were great. Next time I will try sf apricot!

This receipe minus the strawberry jam and nuts on the top, plus 1/4c extra Splenda is one of the old cheesecake receipes from the previous boards. It is truly the best cheesecake.
This sounds really good, I think I will try it. Yum

I made these last night without the strawberry topping. I had a little piece with my coffee this morning. This is a fabulous recipe. I especially love the walnut crust. Thanks for posting. I will be making this one again!

I made these today and they were tasty! However, it seemed like 1 hour was a bit long to bake them. I may have to cut back to 45 min.
