Has anyone ever tried adding sugar free jello to a cheesecake recipe right before baking it?

I was thinking about adding one packet to the standard cheesecake recipe right before I bake it, and cutting that recipe down to 1/3 (calls for 24oz cream cheese - I plan on only using 8oz, and adjusting the other incredients accordingly).

Any opinions/experiences?

shrinky,

I have a super easy recipe -- if you'll email me, I'd be happy to give it to you! I call it "Quick and Easy Red Pie"

Blessings!

Sharron, why don't you post the recipe for all of us to enjoy?

My policy has always been if you'll email me, I'll send you the recipe. Not trying to be difficult, but there are copyright issues I need to be concerned about. I generally don't post recipes except on rare occassions. I do post my articles monthly under the "low carb cooking" link above. Hope you understand...

Just pop me an email

Blessings!

OK , I get it. If you can "sell" it , why share it for free?

While Sharron is the author of her cookbooks, she does have a publisher to answer to. Copyright laws on cookbooks allow a limited free sharing of recipes from a cookbook. but when a large body of the work is reproduced there are copyright infringement issues to deal with. Sharron has shared many many recipes with us and for that we are grateful.
Thanks Sharron

Once you email her, and get 1-2 of her recipes, you'll want the cookbook anyway - I've got the first one, and am patiently awaiting the release of the second one. Everything I've tried has *rocked*.

Sharron is extremely gracious to email her recipes. Writing cookbooks is a career, which usually involves compensation, so it's 100% her right to limit how and when she distributes her freebies! Not all lawyers give out free legal advice, or doctors, or consultants...you get the picture.

Thanks for everything, Sharron!!!!

Right on, Rob, Kellie, and Shrinkydink.

I think that if Sharron wanted to "sell" anything, she'd just tell you "If you want the recipe, buy my cookbook". But she doesn't. Having Sharron on this site is a big bonus for us. I have bought a bunch of lc cookbooks, and hers is the best, hands down. I can't WAIT for the second one to come out.

Mona,

I do share it for free. Rob is exactly correct.

As I said, just email me and I'll happily send the recipe

Blessings!
