Hello. I am new to low carb cooking/baking, etc. I've been following Protein Power's plan and am happy with the switch my family has made. I am looking for a recipe for a homemade low-carb baking mix recipe that I can use to make muffins, bread, pancakes, etc. Thanks for your time. Please email me directly at amyrose@wi.rr.com

I don't know where I got this from in order to properly credit it, nor have I tried it in order to give you a review! Those caveats aside, here is the recipe I have saved: Atkins Bake Mix 1 cup soy flour 2 cups soy protein isolate 2 tbsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 2 tbsp Splenda Sift together then store. Use as you would Dr. Atkins Bake Mix. Much more economical. 10 servings, 3 carbs each Hope that helps! Char Don't squat with yer spurs on!

Here is a link to an Aussie lowcarb site. Has several bake mix recipes - but I have not tried them yet. Has other great sounding recipes too. http://www.carb-lite.au.com/61BAKERY...MixFlours.html Connie
