| Tried these yesterday. My husband loved them and my 2 picky children asked for seconds! 2 1/2 lbs ground round 2 eggs 1 pkg dry onion soup mix 1 cup almond flour 1/4 cup half and half This made 47 decent sized meatballs - I think the carb per meatball is approx 1. Boy were they great tasting!! Moist! Best I've ever made. |

| Sounds great! Did you make a sauce to go with them? Member since 2001 http://www.ilovelowcarb.com Size 24(start lowfat)/Size 18(start LC)/Size 14/Size 8 |

| No MarcieLynn - I didn't. I cheated and used jar sauce. I scraped the sauce off the best I could and surely got some carbs in the sauce that was left on, but I hadn't eaten a whole lot all day yesterday, so I figured it couldn't have been too much |

| Ah, I was wondering because they were sounding like good cadidates for Swedish Meatballs. I see, you did a tomato sauce. Well, they sound great either way. I generally use parmesan as a filler but I'm going to try the almond flour next time I do them. Thanks.
