What is this? I wanted to get some for a recipe I saw and am not sure what it is. I did find a protein powder that had whey and albumin in it. Is this the same? Any help?

Here are the ingredients...

calcium caseinate, milk protein isolate, whey protein isolate, dha powder, egg white, soy lecithin, maltodextrin, natural flavor, bromelain, papain.

I get it at Trader Joe's and it says "Milk & Egg Protein Powder" pretty big, right on the label. It's over by the vitamins and supplements because that's what it's categorized as, a dietary supplement.

How funny, Marcie! My TJs puts theirs with the drinks because it is a drink mix!

I get the same one, and it is probably one of my recipes that used it...

Blessings!

We don't have a Trader Joe's around here and I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Is there something I can use as a substitute?

I'll have to try GNC. I have a good health food store here, where I was able to get everything else. But I just wasn't sure what this was. If it's labeled milk and egg it will be easier to find.

Ok guys - now we'll really get confused. In my HFS they put it with other drink mixes NEXT to the supplements! I would call some of the HFS in your area and ask if they have it - save some time maybe for you.

They didn't have it at GNC, either. So now I'm not sure where to find it!

I found it also at my HFS. They left me on my own to look for it as the gals I talked to didnt understand what I wanted. I found it near the Vitamins on the floor. I am sooo glad I did. Maybe you can search google and put in Milk and Egg protein powder?? Let me look for you for a moment.........

My TJ's has it by the supplements and my other HFS also keeps theirs by the supplements. It's kinda expensive. But worth having for recipes.

Would you believe I found some at a liqidation store here in town?! (Prospector Liquidation). I paid $4.00 for the can... no idea what it costs otherwise because I've never been able to find it. Been using soy protein powder or whey protein powder. But now I can make all of Sharron's recipes the right way! Yea!

Holy Moley!!!!! $4.00 is quite a bargain. Is it expired? I paid about $15.00 at my near-by health food store. Then I found some at Trader Joe's for about $8.00 and I thought THAT was a bargain. If they had more than one can.....you shoulda bought them all at that price!!!!!
