| For Christmas, I got the T-Fal Magiclean deep fryer, and I really like it! The oil container is removable, Teflon coated, and dishwasher safe, as is the frying basket. It seems to hold the temperature very well. The exterior is cool-touch plastic, and the top has a filter so your whole house doesn't smell like frying fish. It's a nice size; big enough for several pieces of food, but not so big it takes over the counter. I also enjoyed getting to smirk when all my low-fat-dieting relatives asked, "What are you going to do with a DEEP FRYER?!" at Christmas. LOL! Aderyn |

| HA! You and I must be on similar "gadget quests" at the moment, Ad! I can tell you one NOT to get - the DeLonghi Roto Fryer. The premise is that the basket rotates around inside the fryer, requiring much less oil because the basket is at a tilt and rotates the food through the hot oil instead of immersing it all at once. SOUNDS good, doesn't it? Well, it quit rotating after the first 5 minutes! GRRRRR!! So it's in the process of being replaced by another De Longhi model which does NOT rotate. I hope I get it back soon! I love fried stuff..... Char Don't squat with yer spurs on! |
