Hello everyone! I need some help.

I am a new LC'er ... I am on the SBD. And we are having a Super Bowl party in a couple of weeks. There will be some LC'ers invited, but most are not. I would like to include some really good LC foods for everyone. Any ideas?

(I will be going through the recipes on this site, but I was still hoping for some input .... even tips or advice on handling the day .... Thx!)

Welcome! You've discovered a great website.

Raw vegetables (crudite) with ranch dip is one of my favorites. Hot wings. Bacon wrapped scallops. peel and eat shrimp. country style ribs made the low carb way. olives and pickles.
These are a few of my favorite things.

Try mixing some blue cheese with cream cheese and putting on celery. It's my new breakfast, and I love it!

Always great for a party-deviled eggs. Try blending in a little ranch dressing with the mayo, mustard and yolk for a different flavor.

Oh yeah, and pork rinds with homemade guacamole or sour cream dip (tortilla chips for the non low carbers)

For a sweet pork rind dip option, you can mix up cream cheese and sour cream with vanilla, cinnamon, and splenda. Use enough sour cream that, when microwaved, the dip is a little thin, because a little goes a long way.

Pork rinds are fried strips of pig skin. They are one of the 'love-them-or-hate-them' items. Usually located in the chip/snack aisle in stores. My grocery has them in plain, BBQ, salt and vinegar, and super hot. Watch the flavored ones because they may contain added sugar. At least give them a try! They are a great substitute for chips and other crunchy snacks.

Thanks Radonskies .... I've never seen them around my area though. I live in the Northeast. Well, if I see them, I'll give them a try.
