Yum! I like the Soy Slender Chocolate. It has 1 gram net carb as well and it really does taste like your cheating! I will have to try the vanilla with the coconut. Fabulous! Thanks Tara.

Ya'll have to tell us where to find Soy Slender. I have finally found the DV Syrups. They were at walmart all along in the coffee section!

I first started getting soy slender at my health food store, but lately I've been able to find it at the better grocery stores in my area. Wal-Mart may be an option. In the grocery store, you'd find it with the "boxed" milk products (like rice milk and such) in the baking aisle. It comes in a rectangular "box" container. Make sure it says "sweetened with splenda"!

I just LOVE that stuff! My fave is a cinnamon mochaccino - 4 squirts your favorite SF syrup (like DV or Torani), dash of good-quality cinnamon (I buy the Vietnamese stuff from Penzey's), a tablespoon of heavy cream - whir together with a little whisk or battery-operated foamer, then add cappuccino flavored Soy Slender, and nuke til hot. Swoon!! SOOOOO good!

DH loves hot chocolate, which I also do using the DV syrup and cream then just fill with the chocolate Soy Slender and nuke. The little bit of cream really gives it a nice texture - great creamy mouth-feel.

I've been able to find the Soy Slender lately at my Albertson's and Nob Hill (Raley's) markets. Prior to that I bought it online at N101.com. At 1 carb per cup, it's a real treat!

OK Char, so what else do you put SF syrup in???

That Soy Slender sounds like a nice addition to our LC life. I'll have to try it!

That does sound really good!

Will have to look for soy slender.

Charski-I have that Vietnamese Cinnamon from Penzey's too. It's fantastic. It lasts forever too without losing flavor.

Connie, LOL! If I could think up my list it would be too long to post...

I neglected to say that it's CHOCOLATE syrup I add to that cinnamon mochaccino....

Rob, I just love Penzey's spices! That Vietnamese cinnamon is so flavorful that it takes less than regular cinnamon. I put some into a small shaker container and shake it into lots of stuff, like the mock Danish, hot drinks, my Dream of Wheat hot cereal etc.!! Yum yum!

Have you tried their Chipotle powder?? WOWIE, sooo good....

WoW! This stuff is great.
I finally found the Soy Slender and bought the Cappuccino and Chocolate. Today I tried Char's recipe but I used the new Sweet Choc. flavored syrup from NF, cream and cinnamon and put it in a tall glass, whipped it with the stick blender and drank it cold. YUMM!! Tasted like a cold glass of choc milk with a touch of cinnamon in it. Talk about DECADENT! Next time I'm going to try it with the choc Soy Slender, cream and the Sweet Choc syrup.
Thanks Tara for starting this thread and everyone else for contributing to it. I never would have tried the Soy Slender without your's and everyone elses opinions.

I buy SoySlender all the time, and love it. I use the vanilla on my flax cereal, and drink the chocolate sometimes...

BUT, I never thought about drinking it hot!! Holy cow! And with syrups! Charski and Tara, you rock!!

And you guys are so right about Penzey's. They have great stuff. Their vanilla, and spice blends are the best anywhere. For those not familiar with them, here's a link:
