I'm looking for a good recipe with broccoli, bacon, sunflower seeds, onion. I need an lc dressing for it, other than straight ranch. A nearby restaurant has a salad like this but it tastes sugary. Any ideas?

My sister in law makes an asian salad with those ingredients, but she uses broken up pieces of uncooked raman noodles. She make her dressing with 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/2 cup olive oil, the packet from the ramen noodles and a packet of stevia plus.
I suppose you could use the vinegar, olive oil and stevia, and add some garlic and onion powder along with some of your favorite seasonings.

I make this type of salad twice a week.
My favorite way:

small pieces of broccoli (couple handfuls)
some shredded cheddar cheese
bacon pieces
dressing: some mayo mixed with 1 tsp. ACV and 2-3 packets of Splenda.

Yummy!

Are you looking for like a sweet/tart dressing?

Your recipe sounds good but not sure what dressing would be good with it. Prior to low carb I use to eat a broccoli salad with rasins, bacon, red onion bits. The dressing was mayo, vinager and sugar. I will try something like this again for the summer, unless I get the craving for it now, which I am just talking about it! I will replace the sugar with stevia/splenda mix maybe? Jan this sounds similar to yours.

Blessings,

Carol

I made a salad with cream and vinegar and splenda. Like the old fashioned cabbage salad, but with more stuff in it. It would work for the broccoli salad.
