The coconut milk will be in the Asian food section of WalMart of any other store. I had a similar problem finding the milk and egg protein powder but finally found it in a health food store.

I can't find unsweetened coconut where I am either. I see you're from Tennessee so maybe it's just not used much in the south. I looked for milk and egg protein too but so far no luck. Rob 310/233/180 Me, a skeptic? I trust you have proof.

My unsweetened coconut is Bob's Red Mill brand which I found at Whole Foods. You can order Bob's Red Mill products on their website if you can't find them locally. http://www.bobsredmill.com Esther

Sorry, I read it wrong. I thought you wanted coconut milk. I found unsweetened coconut in a health food store. It helps to visit all of the ones you have nearby--I can't find everything at any one store.

I finally found unsweetened coconut in the frozen food section at Publix. I happened upon milk and egg protein at my local health store. Beth (aka Fuelmanswife)

| I couldn't find unsweetened coconut either, so I just bought a coconut, peeled it and put it through a food processor. Not exactly like shredded coconut, and peeling it was kind of a pain, but hey, I had coconut! And as far as the milk and egg protein, until I found it I substituted whey protein powder. It worked just fine in Sharron's recipe for Pumpkin Granola. You can find this at Walmart in the pharmacy section. HTH! | What do you use the milk and egg protein powder for? Do you use it to sub flour? I did see it at our Kroger store. |

Well, I've checked the kroger store here, and they don't have either. Susan I'm going to copy the numbers you posted in the other thread and take them to my Kroger. I did find braggs liquid aminos at kroger, also noticed that the almond meal was less expensive there than at the hfs.
