| Speaking of the truffles, I downloaded the recipie from the site last weekend and made some... Now here is the $64,000 question: Why didn't they taste good? I used Hersey's unsweetend chocolate. Now, it has no sugar, but is not sweetened either. It is baking chocolate (not to be confused with the brand Baker's). Was this where I went wrong? They were really bitter. Something I could not stand. So instead of making them again for someone before Valentine's day, I bought some Sugar Free Fannie May before all of the stores close. Thanks. |

| Chicago, which recipe did you use? The one Kumus posted for you or mine? I can see the problem with that other recipe -- granulated sweetener has a ton of filler in it. If you used that, it would taste very bitter. Hersheys is the better choice. I avoid Bakers like the plague! HTH Blessings! | I made your recipe today Kumus. I used a combination of Sugar Twin and Spenda --- what I had on hand. The Splenda is much better at avoiding the bitter taste. I also added considerably more vanilla, and a slight bit of cinamon in the sweetner that I rolled the truffles in. I made about 30 from the recipe. According to my figures, they are 142 calories and 13 carbs per truffle. Not exactly a "free" food. | ........Several days later....... I've decided that the truffles area little dry, and somewhat bitter. Today I melted about 8 of the "balls" and added about 3 oz of cream cheese. Mmmm, smooth yummy fudge. Judy 180/137-138(still a "work in progress")/135-138 "Even if at first you do succeed, you still have to work hard to stay there." -- Richard C. Miller |

| Oh, Judy, hope your truffles turned out just how you had hoped. I'm sorry, I can't take credit for that recipe. I only posted it from within LCE, for someone who had asked for truffles. Take care~ Susan LCE Member since 01/02 |

where can I find this recipe? I can't seem to find it. While I got your attn, since I have your "extreme lo-carb cuisine" would your new on the go version be redundant? I mean do you have overlap recipes or are they all new? Also, where can I find "Low Carb Cooking at Sharron's Place" ? Thank you |

| http://www.lowcarbeating.com/article...s%20and%20Tips that is the link to the article. The books are almost completely different, except for a few "building block" recipes (~15 out of something like 180 recipes in ELCMtG.) As to LCCaSP, I don't know of any available copies except at my chiropractor's office! He still has about 6 left... I did a quick search on Google and found this store that appears to have a few copies still: http://www.azurestandard.com/index.c...ductCode=BK351 I hope this helps, and happy cooking! |

so even the LCCaSP is not redundant compared to ELCCuisine? (I get that the tg is not redundant) the online shop doesnt look very safe. How much is it at your chiropractor? can I mail you personal check for that and S&H? (you can send me private message on this) thank you |

| Well, LCCaSP is contained in ELLC. It was self-published and there are bits and pieces that aren't in ELLC, but I'd say you don't need the first if you have the second Enjoy your chocolates |
