| I can't tell the difference, but I had never used "pancake syrup" anyway. (Icchhh!) I was a 100% maple syrup person and absolutely NOTHING tastes like that. I have come to like the fruit flavored syrups, thickened a bit with Thick'n'Thin on lc pancakes or french toast. I like that better than the "pretend" maple stuff (whether high or low carb) which I find annoying since it "sort of" reminds me of maple but tastes yukky. JMHO. I think that if one liked sugary "pancake syrups" before this woe, then the LC versions will be perfectly acceptable.
