I can't vouch for these in any way but a friend sent me the website and it surely looks worth a try.

I get them all of the time at the low carb store near my house. Chocolate syrup, scampi sauce, alfredo sauce, barbecue sauce and ranch dressing are in my fridge right now. So far they have not stalled my progress and the taste is pretty good -- better than Atkins products in my opinion.

Oh yeah, these are LC nirvana. Their 1000 Island Dressing is to die for. Also Alfredo is great to pour over chicken breasts add a small bit of butter and bake. Yum.
I did not, however, care for their chocolate syrup. Tasted like metal. Not my favorite.

I have some Ragu Parmesan & Mozzarella white pasta sauce. It says it has 60 calories per 1/4 Cup. Carb. 3g, total fat 4.5g, sugars 1g, Fiber 0g. So are there "Hidden carbs." in this? Is it OK to use? My 1000 Island and Ranch and Italian dressings are store brands and they are low in carbs. and sugar. so why would I want to buy more expensive speciality LC products instead! Are they better in some way I don't understand yet?

Luvnaz,

According to my hidden carb calculator (thanks April!), the Ragu white pasta sauce has 4.88 carbs per 1/4 cup serving (I'm assuming there is no protein on label). You can use it, sparingly, but try some of the LC products out there (many of which are good and have half the carbs per serving).

If you ask April really nice , I'm sure she will e-mail you a hidden carb calculator too. This has been a lifesaver to me (esp. when labels do tend to stretch the truth a bit!).
