| 25 to 30% less - still is a lot, no? I forget how many carbs in a "typical" potato but I have a feeling I STILL won't want this one on my menu, particularly if it still rates really high on the glycemic index! Interesting read though, hey at least SOME folks are interested in giving us what we want! Char Being "over the hill" is much better than being under it.... |

| I don't dream anymore. Several years ago, I figured out that I could bake a red potato, (I never liked Russets anyway - too mealy for my taste) take half and scoop out the insides, filling the skin full of sour cream, chives and bacon without screwing up my blood sugar. Skin & fixins were my favorite parts anyway. I had one every week for a while, then, since it was no longer "forbidden" I hardly ever thought about it. I might have one or two a year now. p.s. 25% fewer carbs than a SMALL russett is still 21 carbs per potato.
