Yesterday Rachel Ray on foodnetwork had a carb smart show... i hadnt seen befor.. it wasnt her mushroom burger thing.. it was a BLT-fritata (crustless)

she used arugala pancheta and diced tomatos and eggs
if you look you might be able to find the recpies on their web page..
she also made Cucumber snackers
w/ cucumbers herb cheese and smoked salmon
and she had a whiped cream strawberrie desertw/ i think garbonzo beans (might have been someother kind of bean.. nut or something maby macidamen nuts... (i will edit when i get to that part of the show..
thak good ness for Tvio... i can watch it thismorning.. beacuse everything on food network is high carb thismorning

I REALLY love watching 30-Minute Meals...even when Rachel Ray is making regular high carb fare. She's just fun to watch and it's a neat show..you can get lots of great ideas. BUT. Didja notice in her 'low-carb' Strawberry/Cream/Macadamia nut dessert, she uses sugar! That's kind of a shame, it would have been a good opportunity for her to explain to viewers the great variety of low or no-carb sweeteners they can use (I would have subbed some DaVinci SF Syrup for the sugar in that recipe). I think I'll fire off an email...

Her "$40 a Day" show is a lot of fun as well!
