I bought a v-rack and roasting pan tonight for $8.99. Good price compared to the rotis. I respect Cook's Illustrated, love that magazine.

I still think the Ronco would be nice, I just don't have space for it.

I have a nice boneless pork loin that I plan to roast in the v-rack tomorrow. I'll post the results.

Take care~

Its just my 8 year son and I for Christmas, so I bought an 8 pound Butterball and plan on cooking it in the Showtime. I cant wait. I've never cooked a turkey before, but I have a feeling its going to come out great. Set it and forget it.

Sal, we've cooked countless turkeys in our Showtime and they come out succulent, moist, with nice crispy skin! I'm sure you'll love it!

Mmmmmmmmm, leftover turkey - love it!

Just wanted to share with you all that I made a roast beef on Sunday and cooked it like Cheftrina said to. It came out PERFECT!! I have never been able to do this. Cooking it at 500 for a little then turning it down to like 250 until desired wellness. I cooked it to medium and it came out just like deli meat!

Just wanted to thank you all for the tips from months ago!

Carol,

I'm so glad my method worked for you. I used to make a couple of these a week for my restaurant, and they always turned out well for me.
